The stock rates in about Very Good Plus to Fine condition as an antique.īore Condition: The lands are bright, the grooves are semi bright, and the rifling is deep. The LOP measures 13 ¼ inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. A few of the marks have damaged the surface wood. The wood shows scrapes & scratches and compression marks. The buttplate and stock hardware show scrapes & oxidation. Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece hardwood stock has a straight grip, nosecap with bayonet lug, hole for the included cleaning rod, barrel band, 2 sling loops, and a metal buttplate. When flipped up it becomes a sight ladder that uses a separate sliding “V” notched blade. Sights / Optics: The front sight is an inverted “V” post set atop a small base. The top right edge of the stock, at the receiver, and the left side of the stock, below the receiver, are each marked with a “star”. The bottom of the grip and butt are marked with small stamps.
